Wednesday 21st October 2026 there was a deployment of officers and Westminster city council, which focused on street-based anti-social behaviour and the enforcement of our ASB, Controlled Drinking, and Pedicab Public Space Protection Orders in the Strand and Whitehall area.

The results are as follows:

Enforcement

• 1 x Community Protection Warning issued for ASB

• 2 x Fixed Penalty Notices issued for waste offences

• 1 x Waste Transfer Notice issued

• 1 x Warning letter to be issued to a business regarding queue management

Engagement

• 11 x engagements with members of the street population, with advice provided regarding available services

• 2 x welfare checks conducted

• 4 x business engagements

• 1 x resident engagement

Reports

• 1 x CAD report made to the police regarding a male experiencing mental health issues; an ambulance attended and transported the individual to hospital as a place of safety

• 1 x report submitted to the WCC Highways Team regarding Voi bikes parked in Agar Street
